Inspiration from Ruby

I’m not sure if anyone I know out there watches the show “Ruby” on T.V. She is an amazing girl from Savannah, Georgia who has lost an amazing amount of weight. The show is all about her journey, sometimes easy and sometimes very difficult. Tonights show featured her visit to Australia promoting her book “Ruby’s Diary”. After much contemplation she ended getting the confidence to climb to the top of the Sydney Harbour Bridge. I commend the thousands of tourists and locals that do it but I must admit there is no way I could ever do it. I think I am going to have to buy her book as her show really makes me feel good.

“Davine Time” update: I had a couple of satisfying creative hours making a few bracelets.

  2. I watch the show occasionally. I have to admit that sometimes it makes me nervous. She is like an onion with so many different layers, great spirit, great drive, but there is something hiding inside her that is causing her such pain and it scares me too.
Thanks so much for your comment on Ry. I read it to me and he said....hey that lady is from the country where kangaroos hop and I said yes she is and he says well tell her "ga day mate". For a kid that is supposed to be SLOW he sure isn't. Your encouragment gave him a new focus today....so I am sure everyone will hear about kangaroos, wallabees and his new friend Davine ga day mate. (((((hugs))))) until next time.

  3. I've never heard of this lady, someone to google if I ever come up for a breather and get out from under the textbooks.

Great to hear that you made a few bracelets today, did your heart dance as you made them? :-)
