Comment Dilemma

As with all bloggers I love getting comments from my old and new friends, but I am always in a dilemma about where to put my reply back to them. Sometimes I reply back in my blog, sometimes to each individual and sometimes as a group. Then again sometimes I reply back to them in their blog and then again sometimes I get so confused I don't reply at all - then I feel guilty. Can you see my dilemma!! How and when did I become so indecisive? So I have decided to make an executive decision and from now on I will try and reply to my visitors in the comments area of my blog.

*** "Davine Time" update - I sat myself down and did some jewellery creating.

  1. I have never thought about my comments back on others blogs, I just respond on my blog after whomever it might be makes a comment. I also just post away, such as I am here, when I view blogs to let others know what I think of their comments or photos... now is that proper blog etiquette? I have not a clue but it seems to work for me!

    Cheers Davine!

  2. You never go wrong in both replying on your blog, and then dropping by to comment on whatver they're posting about on your commenters' bloggies...but it's a lot of work...sometimes I don't have anything to say (despite being extremely talkative, lol) though...and sometimes commenters don't have their own blogs, either!

Funny how we already have rules and nicities about something so new!

  3. I thought I was the only one who was worried about where I made my comment to a comment. Whew, glad to know the guilt is universal. I like your decision. That's kinda what I do as well.
It's a girl thing....the the rules and nicities Penni talks about....the boys just leave the lid up. LOL ((((hugs))))

  4. Definitely a 'girl' thing, this blog comment ettiquette (gosh, how DO you spell that word?!) ... I suffer exactly the same dilemmas, Davine & Ladies! I agree with your decision, Davine ~ comment on your blog. :)

  6. I am now so glad I did my post on comments.
Darlene - In reality I am not one for any sort of ettiquette (way to lazy), but I wanted to make sure people saw my replies.
Penniwig - Time is the thing isn't it - we want people to read and comment but we have to make sure we have the time to acknowlege then.
Michelle - Being a girl is sometime annoying - but then I would much rather be a girl than a boy.
    Joanna - Your welcome.
Thanks for visiting my life everyone.
