Merry Christmas and Happy New Year |
Hope you have all had a wonderful 2011 Christmas and an even better New Years Eve. I really love celebrating New Years Eve, not only is it a great night to spend with friends (in my case usually celebrating a little to much) but I love the idea of December 31st being a closure of the year and January 1st is a whole new beginning. I used to make New Years Resolutions but as with most of us they were usually broken before January has finished. So now my New Years Resolution is the same every New Year - I will be the best I can be - I will do things just for me on a regular basis - I will cherish my family and friends and above all I will be REAL. Wishing you all the very best 2012 and may it be all you want it to be.
Nice to meet you and thanks for dropping by my blog today/yesterday.
ReplyDeleteLike you, I love the idea of starting anew and away we go!

this photo is adorable!! Christmas with small ones about is the best.
ReplyDeleteI like your take on NY's resolutions -- I prefer not to pressure myself too much, take it one day at a time, and practice kindness.
Best to you for 2012!
Two very adorable cuties! Christmas is always at it's best when children are involved!
ReplyDeleteA vey Happy New Year to you Davine!
May 2012 be a good one for you & your family!
Great post! Wish everyday I could wake up thinking just like that!
ReplyDeleteOh my goodness, your grandchildren are sooooo adorable! This photo is one to treasure for many, many years to come! Have an amazing New Year, all the best to you and your loved ones... I love your philosophy in regards to how to live life. To me it all boils down to one day at a time and being the best person I can be, not that it always works out that way but at least I put in the effort! lol Cheers!
ReplyDeleteHappy new year Davine, what beautiful babes...
