"Some Serious Capsules"

This afternoon I had a visit to my lovely acupuncturist "Gabrielle". He is so nice and has such a calm relaxing aura around him. Even after being subjected to some cupping, lots of needles and some very serious massage, I am amazed, I am still in fact even more relaxed. These are the mixture of herbal capsules I am to take over the next month - pretty cool aren't they - don't smell real good though!! I must say the work he has done on my knees today has really worked - I have no pain at all. Now I am going to get into my P.J's and sit and do some scrapbooking (Shane has gone to the footy and Dad is already sound asleep). Have a great weekend everyone.

"I Love Music"

I must say I just LOVE "ITunes" and "Limewire". I have just spent the last hour downloading some good old favorite songs from Limewire to put onto my "IPOD". I have a pretty wide range of music that I like, so my downloads have covered classic, 60's pop and good old rock by Cold Chisel. Music is such a great thing to have in our lives. Isn't it amazing how some songs can transport you to a place and time in the past, some make you cry and then some bring on lots of joy. May all I know and love have beautiful music in their lives.

"I'm Back"

I cannot believe it has been 9 days since I last wrote a post on my blog - how slack am I. I'm not going to make any excuses - but I have been painting and gardening and by the time the evening came I have just been vegging out in front of the telly. Yesterday I did have a really enjoyable day in Traralgon at Rebecca's house for her "Creative Memories Winter Wonderland". I scrapped a few pages but it was just nice to escape for a day. My beautiful daughter has just called me to let me know she has received a letter from her Uni "RMIT" to congratulate her on being in the top 15% of all RMIT students. I am so so so proud of her. Although it didn't take this revelation to make me proud of her. I am extremely proud of both my kids. Shane and Rachel have grown into really nice well adjusted adults. Being a single Mum it was hard some of the time but we got there. Not to pat myself on the back to much I have been a pretty good Mum.

"I Am Empowered"

Yesterday afternoon I spent 3 wonderful hours with 8 like minded ladies doing an "Empowerment Workshop". We learnt the basics about various topics which included Self Empowerment, Dream Interpretation, The Wisdom of Astrology and Crystal Friends. We also did some beautiful meditating, which one of the sessions really touched me. Thank you Carol and Michelle for such a wonderful day.

"Pamper Me"

I had the best day yesterday. For my birthday back in March, Shane gave me a gift voucher (I just looooovvvvvve getting gift vouchers) for a massage at "Sentient Being" and yesterday I pampered myself with a foot and full body massage. It was the most delicious 90mins I have spent in a while. I always like to have a massage late in the day, cause you can go home and climb into your PJ's and relax for the evening.

"My 1st Sale"

"Believe In Yourself and Success Will Follow"

I have had the best few days being creative and today I made my 1st jewellery sale. It is quite amazing how by indulging in the creativity and doing, doing, doing my brain seems to become more creative.
and......totally off the subject, I am so excited about seeing the new "Harry Potter" movie, it starts tomorrow... yes I am a "Harry Potter" fanatic.

"No Pain No Gain"

Well Carly our "Off The Couch" personal trainer, worked us hard at training tonight. It was one of the coldest nights we have trained in, but it didn't take long before we had all warmed up. There is almost a full moon tonight, and the sky looked so cool with the moon and stars gleaming in a clear winters night sky. I usually don't feel as though the pain bus has hit me until Friday morning, but the bus has arrived early and I am feeling it now. I have dragged out the heat packs, the ice packs and any other packs I can think off. As the saying goes "No Pain No Gain" - what a silly saying that is anyway.

"Winter Wednesday"

Wow, how chilly was today. The ice was already thick on my car by 10.00 last night. But, I must admit not only do I love fog, I do like the Winter. When I woke this morning I was really happy I am on holidays for the month and I could just hang around home and be creative. Did I end up being creative - mmmm..... no I ended up being a bit lazy. Oh well maybe I will be creative tomorrow. I have decided to set up a website for my jewellery business "DavineRaeDesign". I have only just started my website quest and already it's doing my head in. Maybe I'll just get someone to set it up for me ??????. It's certainly been a long time since my brain has been this busy and I am loving it.

"AFL Footy"

I am sitting here watching my football team St Kilda (Saints) who are on top of the AFL ladder playing Geelong "Cats" who are 2nd on the ladder and I am nearly having a heart attack. At the moment the Saints are 24 points in front but anything could happen in the next hour and a half................. Yeeeeeaaaaahhhhhhh it's finished and the Saints got up by 6 points. As I thought I nearly had a heart attack, it was such an exciting game. It was actually a great game of footy to watch. I would love the Saints to win the Grand Final this year not only because I go for them but so does my "Dear Old Dad". We are not sure how many more years we will have him and I would love his team to win before he leaves us. Sorry to my non Aussie readers - you don't know what I am talking about - us Aussie footy followers are a bit crazy.
